CAN network interface – Expansion board (ref: EID004000)
CAN network interface industrial board on PC/104 bus, developed by ATON Systèmes. It ensures the CAN network control from one embedded system, equipped with one PC/104 bus.
Specifications:
At PC/104 industrial standard, the board can be plugged in the EID 210 00 basic board. The communication is achieved in 8-bit mode by the PC/104 bus.
A CAN SJA 1000 controller (from Philips®) is used and it includes an optoelectronic line interface.
It is developed and manufactured by the society ATON Systèmes.
Characteristics:
▪ Speed communication up to 1 Mbits/s.
▪ Provided with the circular buffers (FIFO in transmission/reception) from the EID 210 000 drivers.
▪ The data structure enables the management of the standard and extended CAN modes (PWs in extended mode).
