Ripple tank: PHM022690

This large-scale ripple tank enables the projection of propagation phenomena. It also constitutes a good approach of reflection, refraction, diffraction & interference phenomena.

Very carefully manufactured, metal-made, this apparatus ensures contrasting display for qualitative & quantitative experiments.
Pictures can be projected either on the table itself or onto remote screen, or on the tank frosted glass.

The excitation device is an electromechanical device vibrator, which frequency can be adjusted from some tenths to several hundreds of Hz. The light source is a mechanical stroboscope , 60 W, with digital frequency display.

The vibrator is provided without feet.
Dimension of the tank: 314 x 363 x 30 mm.

The ripple tank is delivered into one transportation case, with all necessary accessories:
• Stroboscope.
• Height adjustable vibrator.
• Tank.
• Set of accessories for carrying out the requested experiments.
