Adjustable electromechanic vibrator: PHM022800

The vibrator generates a wave that is propagated along a string, a spring or a plate.

This enables the study of phenomena related to:
• Cross waves & standing waves generation.
• Compression & decompression longitudinal waves.
• Resonance phenomena.

The vibrator can be used, either with heavy stand (not provided) or fitted to the workbench.
The frequency (from 0 to 1 KHz) & the amplitude (from 0 to 7 mm) can be adjusted by controlling the voltage.
Input fuse protection. One special string roll, 3 meters long, is provided with the apparatus.

The use of the vibrator is recommended with a Low frequency funcition generator ref PMM062685, as with the stroboscope ref. PMM 015 002.
